I cant get rid of my uti. i get them very frequently and im taking cranberry vitamins and uristat (phenazopyridine) tablets. but now my thighs are covered in a rash?

Rash likely allergic: You do not say how you diagnose UTI. Bladder and urinary discomfort come from any inflammation of the urinary tract both infective and non-infective causes. You should be evaluated by a urologist if you are having frequent urinary tract discomfort. As to the rash, it can also be allergic or infective in origin and should be seen by your primary MD and he may want to refer you to a dermatologist.
