Anaphylaxis: You can still have it without hives allover,although generalized hives can be part of anaphylaxis but not necessary,anaphylaxis means acclerated allergic reaction affecting vital system and other body organs,the skin is one of them.Allergic food reactions most of the time are within minutes,rarely hours,beyond that reactions aren't of the anaphylaxis magnitude.Avoid triggers,keep epinephrine handy
