Itching, fissure: fissures are very painful and cause pain and bright bleeding but 90 percent heal completely without much intervention. during the last stage of healing the itching can become intense. fissures can cause some moisture and leakage which burns and damages the perianal skin. Cleaning with tap water (avoid cleansing pads), and using a protective paste (Calmoseptine) daily after BMs helps
