I had a d&c 8 days ago. they had to use general anesthesia. when i woke my tip of tongue was numb. it is still numb. is this nerve damage?

Neuropraxia: Find out if they needed an oral airway, its a small plastic part that helps keep you airway open and rests on the tongue. If the tip was compressed under the plastic the tip can become numb because small sensor nerves get pinched for a better word. These problems should resolve in time
