Recent blood test has transferrin saturation 6% and i have been advised that this is extremely low. what does the transferrin saturation mean/do?

Low iron: Transferrin transports iron in the body. Low saturation means that your body doe not have enough iron. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
