A member asked:

I have scleroderma and my last chest xray came back with increased haziness. what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Non-Specific: Sorry to hear about your dx. but it is treatable. Xray findings are only a small part of the picture, so don't get hung up. More sensitive is chest CT if your Dr. wants to follow you closely. You can see: http://radiopaedia.org/articles/scleroderma-pulmonary-manifestations Yes, the "haze" can be seen in scleroderma, but other factors are impt. so follow with your rheumatologist and be well.
