Trauma? Herpes?: If rubbing was sufficiently rough, probably a traumatic injury, especially if it was sore immediately. You are the best judge of that. If nothing showed up until 2-3 days, I would be worried about herpes, the most common cause of genital ulcer. Possibly chancroid, but very rare. Syphilis takes 10-20 days for the sore to begin. Accurate diagnosis of herpes needs test ASAP; see doc within 1-2 days.
