A member asked:

Normal iron level but i have mild anemia...what can cause the anemia and what can i do about the fatigue if i should not take additional iron?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Energy: Good quality, 7 to 9 hour regular sleep, outdoor activity daily in the sun, aerobic 45 minute moderate exercise like swift walking and small balanced meals all increase energy. Eat food that improve iron absorption such as vitamin C in citrus fruits, dark green leafy vegetables, melons, potatoes, tomatoes and strawberries. Eat high iron foods like Red meat, Pork, Poultry, Seafood, and Beans.
