A member asked:

Ask GYN this: Bipolar Disorder is more typically diagnosed in a person's mid-twenties. By your question, it was unclear if this diagnosis is new to you. Labile emotions are symptoms of this disorder, but also be symptoms of perimenopause. A woman can certainly have both at the same time. Hysterectomy is an option to explore with your Gynocologist; exploring meds and therapy also appropriate, and faster.
