Common problem: Many of us spend a lot of time in our heads. (What if .., and then worrying). I find it among my patients, friends and at times myself. People who are anxiety prone, do this even more. What helps is shifting back to the present moment. Learning mindfulness meditation or other tools to stay in the present. There is a vicious cycle between our anxious thoughts and feelings. Therapists can help.
