In the past few days i have developed a raw and sore area on my abdomen under a skin fold. first time this has happened so don't know how to treat it ?

Raw skin under fold: Likely infection,yeast .Could try OTC vaginal yeast treatments, Monistat and see if helps. Wash 2 x a day with soap and water ,dry. Consider tinactin (tolnaftate) (antifungal) powder . May become suprainfected with bacteria so monitor healing-and may need bacitracin as well. .Also check thyroid function and glucose. yeast infections are sometimes the first sign of diabetes. F/u w/ doc
