Vicks and Sudafed: I cannot think of a good reason you would need both. How about starting with NyQuil and staying with it if that works. If things are not OK try Sudafed. If one or other causes a problem please stop taking both and see your primary doctor.

Yes: If you are talking about Vicks NyQuil Cold and Flu relief then yes they are compatible. If Sudafed PE doesn't relieve your congestion then switch to the old formulation of Sudafed (which is OTC but you have to sign for it) . This contains pseudoephedrine instead of phenylephrine. Unfortunately this may interfere with sleep so try it during the day first. Don't you just hate colds? !
