HR Fast Standing: POTS stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. "Syndrome" is important because is more than one disease the results in the same set of symptoms which are a rapid HR on standing, then sometimes dizziness, feeling faint, feeling shaky/tremulous, visual changes, throbbing in the head, weakness, chest discomfort & more. The tx depends cause & can be simply time to cardiac procedures.
