Prognosis is good: Most people with pots are doing better a year after diagnosis and eventually outgrow it. By one year 37% no longer have it. (mayo clinic proceedings 2012:87(8) 744-752.) treatment is: drink plenty of fluids everyday, eat an unrestricted salt diet, wear support hose, get up slowly from lying down or sitting. If that fails to provide adequate relief, meds can be administered.
