I have what seems to be a mole on my cheek. it's been there a while. i scratched & it started bleeding with a slight burn. should i be scared?

Get a medical check: Any mole that bleeds needs to be examined by a physician. It may be something benign requiring removal or it can be a melanoma which is a dangerous type of skin cancer. Please go see a doctor and request that this mole be removed. A dermatologist may be the best specialist to handle it. If you do not know a dermatologist, go see your family doctor for initial assessment and advice.
