A member asked:

My tonsils keep swellin up every few months. this time no sore throat just hurts to move to look up or different angles with my head. what do i do ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctors can check: One's primary doctor can check to see if antibiotics are needed again, presuming there has been prior treatment already. Also, the primary care doctor can check for overall health, such as ruling out other illnesses that might make tonsillitis occur more often. An ENT specialist can give an opinion on whether or not surgery might help (removing tonsils).
