Doctor can check: A primary care doctor can check. Rashes are hard to describe and hard to diagnose without actually seeing the rash. There are many causes of rashes, but if a person is on antibiotics after a surgery, one possible cause would be an allergy to the antibiotics. Of course, viruses and strep throat infections can also cause rashes, and may not be related to the surgery at all.
