A member asked:

What aftercare should i follow after having a mole removed via cauterising?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ask the DR: What is "cauterizing"? Why was it done? How large? What part of body? The details count. For most simple procedures without stitches it is best to leave open and lubricate with vaseline or Aquaphor. Water is good for it. Wash gently. Avoid bacitracin, neosporin, peroxide, or any other antibiotics or antiseptics.
