Occasionally my left leg starting with my upper buttocks will go tingly/cold. when the cold starts to go away my leg/left buttocks gets sweaty. why?

Neurologist: You may have to be evaluated by a neurologist to determine whether there is a type of neuritis or peripheral neuropathy affecting the sciatic nerve. The symptoms don't suggest a musculoskeletal process. If deemed advisable tests like emg or spinal mri may be recommended.
