As child had c diff. ulcerative colitis from antibiotics for urinary infections. could this be reason i get painful stools that bleed now as adult?

Odd situation: It is not rare for someone to get colitis from C.difficile , but to cause ulcerative colitis would be.That label is usually reserved for a lifelong process that is rarely seen in kids, I never did in > 30 yrs of pediatric practice.Painful and bloody stools require proper evaluation in adults for best outcome.The y can arise from infections, constipation, cancer or true inflammatory bowel disease.
