Anxiety and pain: If your doctor has determined that your left arm pain is not associated with a medical condition and you suffer from pain and anxiety, I would look at the possibility that you may be suffering from a Somatic Symptom and Related Disorder. If such is diagnosed, therapy is often helpful in resolving these symptoms.
