Syphilis?: You keep asking the same question repeatedly. See my previous reply; the answers won't change. Some causes of genital ulcer are serious, especially syphilis, and are associated with increased risk of HIV, especially in Mali and elsewhere in sub-Saharan Africa. Your partner should keep the appointment with the specialist and you both should be tested for HIV.

Ulcer on Meatus: Relax as an ulcer on the meatus can not lead to HIV unless your partner is HIV positive and you have unprotected sex.Having said that the ulcer on the Urinary Meatus needs to be checked by your family doctor or a urologist.These ulcers can be caused by STDs like Syphilis, Chancroid, Herpes Simplex,lymphogranuloma . And can be non infectious caused by trauma, abrasion or infection. Will need tests
