Time: Herbal tea (or plain hot water) with honey and lemon can provide some soothing relief, as can gargling with warm salt water (1 Tbsp salt in 8 oz warm water). Otherwise, NSAID medications such as ibuprofen or naproxen can help relieve the pain and discomfort. Generally, laryngitis takes time, and rest to fully heal/resolve.
