Inflammation: Chronic inflammation, whether due to allergies or not, leads to congestion which feels like pressure, that might not be constant, comes and goes depending on the trigger. At any rate a second opinion by an allergist/Immunologist would be of help, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area, good luck
