Sort of...: It can be very painful as the abdomen does not like any other fluid in it! not blood (why a tiny amount of endometriosis is so painful), and not cyst fluid. Might be smart to talk to doc about emergency pain meds in case you have to come to the er. It also depends on the cyst-it could have just been a ruptured follicle. If you ever get severe low abdominal pain, go to er-let them know it's there.
