An incidental mri of my lower back has shown a thickening of the endometrial stripe in my uterus approximately 1.2 cm. have no symptons at all.

Needs more workup: Assuming you are post menopausal you should get a transvaginal ultrasound to further assess this. You may have abnormal thickening of the endometrium which can be caused by non-cancerous hyperplasia. Polyps and endometrial cancer can less commonly do this so it is important to get further evaluated.
