Not likely: Appendicitis is usually a progressive problem over 24-48 hours of gradually worsening abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, fever can occur, pains move into the right lower abdomen. Does not last weeks. See a doctor for an examination if pains persist to help identify a possible cause.
