Sort of: A full dilated eye exam allows your doctor to see your blood vessels which can give you an idea of the blodd vessels that supply the central and peripheral nervous system that control nerves.

Optic nerve: You can only see nerve damage on the optic nerve through an eye exam. If there is, then one can only INFER that there might be damage elsewhere in the nervous system - not actually see it. Hope that helps.
