After 4 useless months on effexor (venlafaxine) 75mg for gad which is better adjunct to it - hydroxyzine or gabapentin ? or there is a better combination ?

Neither: Please consult your prescribing physician about the futher use of SSRI or SNRI medication and certainly if you are not responding to current Effexor (venlafaxine). I would avoid the hydroxyzine and gabapentin at this time.
