Additive effect: There is a risk of increasing central nervous system and psychomotor impairment which is an additive effect. They are usually not started in combination, i.e. One is added at a time to reach treatment goal. Your doctor must have felt that you need the medications if prescribed. Discuss with your prescribing provider.
