I'm a little unclear: Has she been in bed for two days because she is sick? With other upper respiratory symptoms? The most common cause of "ear blockage" is called eustachian tube dysfunction..unequal pressure inside the inner ear. If part of a URI, it should resolve as that does. Antihistamines, intranasal steroid sprays or nasal decongestants may help. You can watch a few days or see Doc if more symptoms/worsening.
