Yes and is not: indicated. This is not the way to treat headaches. The imitrex (sumatriptan) can cause problems of its own and can have disabling side effects. This is not a treatment for daily headaches. See a neurologist for better management.

Be careful: Imitrex (sumatriptan) can cause rarely heart attacks and/or strokes, especially if taken in doses higher than recommended. Daily usage will exceed the maximum, which is no more than 3 daily, 5 total weekly. In someone of your age 68, you have a far higher risk of complications as contrasted to a younger person. If you headaches are out of control, best you use a preventative med. Contact Concierge.

Episodic v. chronic: Migraines can be considered episodic or chronic; with daily migraines, it seems as if you have more of a chronic type of syndrome (putting aside strict definitions). These are best treated with prophylactic medications rather than Imitrex daily, which could cause headaches from medication overuse. Pleas see your local doctor for either a revision of your meds or a referral to a neurologist.
