2 years: Normally every 2 years. If you keep up with your Perio maintenance than normally it is recommended to have a deep cleaning every two years. A Perio maintenance is basically cleaning your teeth just not as profound as a deep cleaning and usually does not require anesthesia. Hope that helps.

A periodontal maintenance procedure is done for patients who have periodontal disease and pockets. The hygienist will clean the toxins and debris from the deep pockets and review your status with you.
