This sounds like: "nerve" pain...you could have early "shingles"...is there a rash?? the pain often comes before the rash..or a nerve may be pinched in your lower spine (L5-S1) Apply ICE/HEAT (which ever helps most or "alternating") Contact your PCP for an examination as soon as practicable!
