Most people have one: My answer is that almost everyone has a risk factor or Two for DVT . Everybody who travels in a car or takes trips on airplanes or has one of many medical risk factors such as surgery has a risk factor. Thankfully for most people the risk for otherwise healthy people is very small approximate 1 in 100,000 or less. it is becomes more significant when the risk factor accumulate.
