It could be: It could be due to infection which can cause swelling of the lymph nodes or glands under the jaw. Because it is really impossible to diagnose without a full exam I would recommend seeing your physician or dentist.

Many possibilities: Could be cavity, gum infection, fractured tooth, infected sinus, neurologic problem, traumatic occlusion, clenching or grinding, or a myriad of other problems. Before this gets worse please call your Dentist for an examination, differential diagnosis, and appropriate treatment.
