Will wearing an eyepatch suppress double vision? i suffered a concussion recently and have double vision, will wearing an eyepatch help?

Yes: Double vision most likely happened from imbalance eye muscles from your trauma. If there is a muscle issue then closing one eye helps to eliminate double vision. Pls make sure to be examined by an ophthalmologist for an eye exam and evaluation.

Yes, eyepatch helps: Double vision can arise from head injury if the eye muscle, nerve, or housing (orbit) has been damaged. Accurate diagnosis is needed, so see an opthamologist ASAP. Eye patches, alternated every 15-30 minutes will control this annoying symptom but not fix the problem. Tincture of time, Botox, fresnel lenses, muscle strengthening or orbital repair all can fix depending on cause
