Usually not: Floaters are usually benign and not associated with neurological damage. Defects in visual fields (scotomata) can result from brain injury - but "we do not see what we do not see". Floaters can be debris in the fluid of the eye. A thorough eye evaluation would be appropriate.

Get checked: I would get checked out from both a primary care sports medicine specialist and opthomologist. May times concussions can cause issues with vision and balance. Usually symptoms resolve, but since they are not, you should get evaluated.
