K regulation: Body very tightly regulates levels of sodium and potassium which affect nerve conduction and heart beat. Don't worry so much about the actual numbers. That's what your kidneys are doing every second. If you eat too much potassium your kidneys will just pee it out, too little, and it will tightly hold on to it. Worry about other things in your life, not your K levels.
