Soak and remove: Soak and remove it, or it may get trapped in the wound as the skin heals and cause ongoing irritation. If you cannot remove it easily, go to an UC or your doc and they can apply numbing agents and remove it. IF you have not had a tetanus booster in the last 10 years, get one within 72 hours of cutting yourself.
