Need more info: Problem could be infection or nerve injury. Get a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon who sub specializes in hands.

Nerve damage?: Sometimes the injection will nick a nerve in the skin. It should heal in 2-3 weeks. If it swells, gets red, or pain increases, see a doctor. Good luck!
