Measured bp by electronic devices showed 150-165/80-100, went to my doctor and it was 130/80? he said to never use electronic devices?

Some machines stink: There is a chance you have labile hypertension (variable BP), but more likely your Dr. is right about one faulty reading. This doesn't mean visits to the grocery store machine are a waste of time. When I see a machine and have someone with me we each check it out. as readings on two people can verify accuracy of the machine if they are reasonable numbers. Use somebody for a "control subject".
