Whilst i was cycling i noticed my heart rate spiking quite drastically and would like to know what i can do to double check this, my device indicated 246 bpm, pls advise as there are no doctors open in the smart network ?

Heart rate: Devices read your electronic pulse or rythm strip which consists of pwave, QRS and T wave. The device typically reads the QRS. For some people there QRS and Twave can be the same height and then the device will double up the rate. I personally do not use electronic devices when I exercise and simply take my own pulse.
