Shoulder out?: See your team to find out what is going on. Don't mess with this. Can trap nerves or blood vessels which you don't want to do. In the AM would be OK. Avoid the position that makes it happen.

Orthopaedic Surgery : You need to visit an orthopaedic surgeon. It sounds like you have a positive apprehension test. Have you dislocated it before? Were you a wrestler? The glenohumeral ligaments that help hold your shoulder in place may be damaged. You may be experiencing some partial subluxation and I would limit lifting anything heavy and visit a shoulder specialist.

Needs imaging: You will likely need some advanced imaging (i.e. MRI). See a medical provider for an exam and further work-up. Sounds like a laxed ligament vs partial tear vs bone spur etc. either way, MRI is likely the best mode of initial evaluation. Good luck.
