Yes: It depends on whether or not there was any residual neck of the aneurysm. Post-operative cerebral angiograms should be done to examine the details of the clipping. Furthermore, surveillance angiograms are often done to see if there are any changes or "outpouchings" particularly at the base of the aneurysm adjacent to the clip.
