A member asked:

Can flying in an airplane make my blepharitis and dry eye and eye strain worse ? my pupils tend to dilate on their own due to eye strain

Dryness can: The inside of the cabin is very dry and this can worsen symptoms of blepharitis and dry eye. If you are a contact lens wearer, avoid wearing them on long flights

Yes: Airplane cabin air is notoriously extremely dry. Worsening dryness can lead to eye pain and irritation. I would recommend using artificial tears while flying, drinking plenty of water, and taking frequent breaks from computer/phone/reading, etc.
