Period: Most women who conceive do not have a cycle until after the baby is born. If you do not have your period when you expect it; do a pregnancy test and follow up with your doctor. If your pregnancy test is negative and you still fail to have a period check another one 1 week later. To avoid pregnancy and infection consider birth control and use condoms. All the best.
