Pregnancy lasts : About nine months from your last menstrual period and you do not get periods during pregnancy.

Usually not: It's possible to have a period after getting pregnant, but it's usually notably lighter than normal. And periods typically restart after birth, although not necessarily immediately, and breastfeeding can affect that. However, in general, if a woman bleeds while pregnant, she should see her ob/gyn to get checked and not assume that it's "normal".

Sometimes you may: Have slight bleeding during implantation of the fertilized egg , or if there's threatened abortion wherein the placenta is partially detached or during ectopic pregnancy.Take care !
