Go back to clinic: The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a 7 day course of doxycycline 100 mg twice a day or Azithromycin 1gram in one oral dose, not both. You may have had a simultaneous infection with Gonorrhea, which requires additional treatment. Antibiotic resistance happens. Anal sex more dangerous. I recommend a full screen and get your partner treated. Take your treatment as directed.
