How would i know if i have slipping rib syndrome? i've had upper left abdominal pain, rib pain, and sternum pain for 5 wks. also get chest pain.

Physical examination: And a chest xray will aid in making this diagnosis. Characteristic exam findings can be found but only with a doctor putting hands on the patient as well as excluding other causes if chest/abdominal pain. Suggest seeking a doctor immediately.
